I use this site but you need to register (it's free) with them to view the contents of the new ones that they uploaded. The thing is that they have mostly live action movies not dramas, oh and they're Asian not American.

How do you watch the drama series you've downloaded with srt. files?

I downloaded a drama series with eng sub. so now i have download the srt. files and the avi files for the series but it won't play in my player?my player is a windows media player by the way, what should i do?help!

the srt file is the sub file
1. Make sure both files are the same name:
Name1.avi
Name1.srt
2. Make sure they are in the same folder
WMP has .srt file support but you would have to download DirectVobSub (check the link below!) I think you should go ahead and download VLC player (much easier IMO). It's free and a great one stop spot for all your viewing needs.
Once you have downloaded VLC player click on your .avi file to view. go up to Video>Subtitle track. The .srt file should be available to be enabled in this menu.
after you download DirectVobSub all you have to do is follow the steps 1 and 2 then click the avi file you should be able to see the subs automatically in WMP
