Can someone recommend me some books please?

I've read The Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay, all the Kathy Reichs books and I've also read The Kite Runner. My favorite was the kite runner. Anybody know any good books similar to that one? Or any good books about Crime/ Mystery? Please don't recommend Harry Potter or Twilight. I read Harry Potter and I refuse to read anything about vampires. Thanks in advance.

Anybody know any other graphically violent books besides American Psycho?

I've read some parts of American psycho, and the graphic descriptive violence is really entertaining but it's only in sections of the book, the rest of it I find boring. Can somebody please tell me a book or some books that are just as graphically violent but fun to read, and I would also like a list of books told in first person narrative by a fictional (or real) serial killer, and don't say the Dexter series I've read it. Thanks faggots.

If you loved American Psycho then I think I know just the book for you.

Silent Terror by James Ellroy.

About a serial killer on the loose that kills purely for pleasure and considers it art. And to fully meet your criteria it is from the first person perspective.

dexter is amazing and tbh theres not much that can live up to it :) i liked breaking bad though, but only series one the rest were awful

also i loved luther its a brilliantly dark british drama
